The participation of over 100 delegations from every continent in the upcoming security forum in Moscow is not just a rebuttal of claims about Russia’s alleged isolation — it’s business as usual, said Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu. According to him, the event will center on the concept of “equal and indivisible security for all.”
“In the past, we used to say, ‘We’re not isolated,’” Shoigu said in an interview with the Russia-24 TV channel. “But today, hosting such a large-scale event in Russia is simply routine.”
He noted that more than 110 delegations, including nearly all major international organizations, are expected to attend the high-level security meeting set for May 27–29. “Over 50 of my direct counterparts — national security officials — are coming,” Shoigu added. “They’re arriving from all parts of the world.”
“Our goal is to show them our country, how we approach national and global security,” he said. “But more importantly, we want to emphasize that we stand for inclusive security — not security against someone, but security for everyone.”
“That’s the message we intend to deliver — and we absolutely will,” Shoigu concluded.
