Participants of the Second SCO Economic Forum opening in Tashkent on Tuesday will discuss priority areas of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as work out specific recommendations to ensure the sustainable development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.
Uzbekistan's Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT), which is the main organizer of the event, said the forum is held as part of the country's presidency at the SCO at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who addressed it in 2020 at the organization's summit in Moscow.
