Tatarstan is ready to supply the Kingdom of Bahrain with petrochemical and machine-building products, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and agricultural goods, the press service of the head of the republic said.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with Bahrain's Oil and Environment Minister Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Daina on Wednesday as part of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum.
"The range of products that could be supplied to Bahrain is very wide. These are supplies of petrochemical and machine-building products, automobile tires, compressors, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, and agricultural goods," Minnikhanov was quoted as saying at the meeting by the press service.
In general, the head of the republic noted that the Russian state pays big attention to the development of relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Tatarstan strives to contribute to the development of cooperation within the framework of Russia-Bahrain relations.
At the same time, according to Minnikhanov, it is necessary to increase cooperation.
The minister of oil and environment of Bahrain thanked the president of the republic for his personal attention to the development of cooperation. "We got acquainted with the potential of your companies at the exhibition. And according to the results we are ready to hold separate meetings with them. I am impressed with the technologies that you use in oil production and refining," said Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Daina.
