US President Donald Trump has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, marking the final stop of his three-day tour across the Gulf region. His plane, Air Force One, landed at Abu Dhabi International Airport, according to Sky News Arabia.
Prior to arriving in the UAE, Trump visited Qatar, where he addressed US troops at Al Udeid Air Base, the largest American military installation in the Middle East.
The UAE leg of the tour will focus on US-UAE cooperation in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. Trump is expected to hold talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other senior officials.
The visit has included the signing of major economic deals:
A $600 billion investment package between the US and Saudi Arabia.
A Boeing deal with Qatar Airways for up to 210 wide-body aircraft.
A record $142 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia, the largest ever between the two nations.
According to Reuters, the US and UAE have also reached a preliminary agreement for annual deliveries of up to 500,000 Nvidia AI chips, aimed at helping the Emirates build infrastructure for next-generation technologies, including data centers.
