Zhaparov Encourages Yakutia to Establish Joint Ventures with Kyrgyzstan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has called on Yakutia (Sakha) to increase collaboration by forming joint ventures, exchanging business delegations, and expanding tourism. This proposal was made during a meeting in Bishkek with Yakutia's head, Aisen Nikolaev, who was visiting Kyrgyzstan.

 

President Zhaparov emphasized the importance of boosting trade and economic cooperation, attracting investments, and developing joint enterprises. He also highlighted the mutual potential in tourism and the value of cultural and historical ties between Kyrgyzstan and Yakutia.

 

He expressed plans to host "Days of Yakutia Culture" in 2025, underlining the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.


Nikolaev acknowledged Yakutia’s appreciation for opportunities to deepen ties with Kyrgyzstan, noting the growth in trade between the regions. He pledged support for businesses and enterprises seeking closer cooperation with their Kyrgyz counterparts.

 

Nikolaev also proposed holding the "Children of Asia" street games in Kyrgyzstan in 2026, emphasizing the event's potential to symbolize friendship and enhance sports collaboration.
