Konstantin Shuvalov, Ambassador-at-Large, special representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry for liaison with the Alliance of Civilizations, member of the RIW group, took part in the Moving from Dialogue to Partnership of Civilizations forum in Moscow.

Russian senior diplomat, member of the RIW group Konstantin Shuvalov talked about the end of the unipolar model and urged countries to listen to each other.

"The one civilization vision is typical of those who think in a linear way. Those who support this vision are sceptical of dialogue. Power is shifting, some gain power, some lose. If there are many civilizations, we need to think about relations between them to avoid conflicts," he said.

Konstantin Shuvalov pointed out great interest in students to the forum and civilizational issues.

 

 

The international forum 'Moving from Dialogue to Partnership of Civilizations' co-sponsored by Russia's MGIMO University and the RIW group brought together eminent scholars, public and political figures from Russian and abroad who talked about the need to move towards a genuine partnership between civilizations.
