After the meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov and the President of the Islamic Development Bank Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali an annual plenary meeting has began.
During today’s meeting the Chairman of Group of strategic vision “Russia – Islamic World” and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has given a welcoming speech.
At the end of the first half of the meeting a Memorandum of Understanding between PJSC “Tatfondbank” and the Islamic Development Bank has been signed.
The meeting continued after the communication of the participants and guests of the meeting with the press, and excursion in the Old Tatar Sloboda (village) – one of the historical parts and attractions in the center of Kazan.
In the second half of the meeting the final resolution of the annual meeting of Group of strategic vision “Russia – Islamic World” was adopted.
Also today, the laureates of the Award of the Chairman of Group of strategic vision “Russia – Islamic World” R.N. Minnikhanov received their prizes. The Group Coordinator Veniamin Popov awarded Honorary Diplomas to:
– Bahu-Mesedu Rasulova (Republic of Dagestan) for a cycle of poems;
– Marat Zinnurovich Khairetdinov (Republic of Tatarstan) for the book “Jihad in the light of the modern era.”
– Azat Ahounov for his books;
– Gulnaz Badretdin for her publications.
Let us remind that a competition of the annual Award of the Chairman of Group of strategic vision “Russia – Islamic World” Rustam Minnikhanov was announced on September 15, 2015. The names of the winners were announced by the coordinator of Group of strategic vision Veniamin Popov at the Second International Forum “Journalists from Muslim countries against extremism” which was held on April 20-21. Working day ended with an excursion around the city including visit to Kazan Kremlin and dinner at the restaurant “Panorama”.
