On November 28-30, Ufa (Republic of Bashkortostan) will host the V annual meeting of the Group of strategic vision (GSV) Russia-Islamic world The main topic of this year meeting is " Interfaith harmony: the experience of Russia and member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)".
It is expected that the event will be attended by the Chairman of the Group of strategic vision Russia-Islamic world, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, who proposed the Forum to be held in Ufa, as well as high representatives of international organizations, along with other Russian and foreign members of the Group. The guests of honor are: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to OIC Ramazan Abdulatipov, Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Group of strategic vision Russia-Islamic world Farit Mukhametshin, Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alexander Yakovenko, the heads of the Republic of Dagestan, the Chechen Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Republic of Adygeya, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Kabardino-Balkar Republic, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
Within the framework of the Forum it is planned to hold plenary and three working sessions, a solemn reception on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, exhibitions on the investment attractiveness of the region, organize an excursion program to the sights of Ufa, etc. In addition, there will be awarding the winners of the international Yevgeny Primakov and the national Rustam Minnikhanov Awards, established under the auspices of the GSV Russia-Islamic world, demonstration of videos about the founders of the group Yevgeny Primakov and Mintimer Shaimiev, as well as the exhibition of scientific and theological works published in Russia.
