In modern realities, where negative and ignorant positions remain strong, it is necessary to cultivate traditional values, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva told at the  "Chingiz Aitmatov International Forum of Writers and Intellectuals" videoconference.

The speaker cited Chingiz Aitmatov's words - "How hard the person became the human" - which, in her opinion, clearly characterizes modern society and especially its young part, and told about work on search of answers to modern challenges of lack of culture in a society is conducted in Tatarstan.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan gave an example of polylingual complexes being built in the republic, which will be based on the philosophy of intercultural harmony and culture of dialogue. This strategy, she said, fits into Aitmatov's ideas.

Also, Tatarstan is developing a project of the educational and methodical association for the Volga Federal District, which should work with cultural codification and diversity of peoples living in the region.

All these projects, according to Fazleeva, are being implemented with the active support of Tatarstan's leadership, including President Rustam Minnikhanov, who heads the Group of Strategic Vision  "Russia - Islamic World" and State Advisor Mintimer Shaimiev, who, along with Aitmatov, was at the origin of the GSV.
