Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muslims across Russia on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bayram), highlighting the important role Muslim organizations play in countering extremist ideologies. “Please accept my warmest congratulations on one of the most significant Islamic holidays — Eid al-Adha,” said Mishustin. “For centuries, this holiday has carried deep spiritual meaning, symbolizing the strength of faith, the pursuit of spiritual growth, and loyalty to long-standing traditions.”
The Prime Minister emphasized the contributions of Muslim organizations in Russia, noting their wide-ranging charitable and educational initiatives and their efforts to promote interethnic and interfaith harmony.
