Mishustin Congratulates Russian Muslims on Eid al-Adha

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muslims across Russia on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bayram), highlighting the important role Muslim organizations play in countering extremist ideologies. His message was published on the official website of the Russian government.

 

“Please accept my warmest congratulations on one of the most significant Islamic holidays — Eid al-Adha,” said Mishustin. “For centuries, this holiday has carried deep spiritual meaning, symbolizing the strength of faith, the pursuit of spiritual growth, and loyalty to long-standing traditions.”

 

The Prime Minister emphasized the contributions of Muslim organizations in Russia, noting their wide-ranging charitable and educational initiatives and their efforts to promote interethnic and interfaith harmony.

 

“Your work in raising the younger generation and countering the spread of extremist ideologies is especially worthy of respect,” Mishustin added.
