Mishustin to Attend Caucasus Investment Forum

27 May

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will take part in the Caucasus Investment Forum (CIF), which is being held this year in the Stavropol Territory, the government’s press service reported.

As part of his visit, the prime minister will also chair a meeting of the Government Commission on the Socio-Economic Development of the North Caucasus, the statement said.

Mishustin will be accompanied by several cabinet members. In addition to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, the delegation will include Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Sport Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov, Minister of Labor Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Transport Roman Starovoit, Minister of Construction Irek Fayzullin, and Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev.

The prime minister regularly attends CIF sessions, which have been held since 2023. In addition to participating in the forum’s events, he usually convenes a meeting focused on the development of the North Caucasus Federal District. Last year, the forum was held in Grozny, while in 2023 — as this year — it took place in Mineralnye Vody.
