I cordially congratulate the Russian Muslims on the holiday of Eid al-Adha.
One of the main and most revered by the followers of Islam holidays marks the end of pilgrimage to holy places, serves to unite people, strengthen the everlasting values of love, kindness and mercy.
It is gratifying that the Russian Muslims cherish the richest cultural, spiritual heritage of their fathers and grandfathers and bring up respect for the history, traditions and their ancestors’ customs in the younger generation. The life of the Muslim community is full of good deeds and beginnings. Much attention is paid to the realization of social and educational initiatives. And, of course, the contribution of Muslim organizations into development of fruitful cooperation with state and social institutions, maintenance of international and inter-religious dialogue in our country is valuable.
