Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded Rustam Minnikhanov, the head of Tatarstan, the II degree Order "For Merit to the Fatherland". The relevant decree of the head of state was published on Monday on the official Internet portal of legal information.
It is noted that Minnikhanov receives the order "for his great contribution to the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan and many years of hard work".
Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler also received the award. The president awarded him the Order of Honor for many years of diligent work.
