Russian President Vladimir Putin recently highlighted Russia's cultural values, emphasizing the significance of respect for elders, love for the Motherland, and compassion towards one another as pillars of the nation's stability. Speaking at a gathering with large families, Putin underscored the importance of these principles in fostering unity within the state.
"In our diverse, multi-ethnic, and multi-confessional country, the fundamental elements of our shared Russian culture lie in respect for elders, respect for parents, and devotion to both the homeland and the larger Motherland," - remarked the head of state. - "Mutual care and compassion towards one another - all these are pillars of stability for the Russian nation."
Engaging with the Khalikov family from the Chechen Republic, the president noted the diverse professional accomplishments of their children, including roles as math and physics teachers, senior researchers, and artists. "Your family is truly remarkable, and you've done an exceptional job raising such outstanding children," remarked the president before inviting one of the family's members to speak.
In response, the family member expressed gratitude and shared anecdotes about their older brother Ramzan, extending warm regards to their sister Izeta, who couldn't attend the gathering.
