Putin offered a volunteer from Tatarstan to congratulate Minnikhanov on his birthday

Russian President Vladimir Putin offered a volunteer from Tatarstan to wish Happy Birthday to President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov and discuss volunteer projects with him.


Khriya Khalitova, a pensioner from Tatarstan, told the President at Putin's meeting on Thursday with participants in the "We are together" campaign about the help volunteers provided to veterans during the pandemic, as well as about other volunteer work.


"You're doing such great work, and it's worth supporting," the President said. He recalled that he "recently talked to Rustam Nurgaliyevich, the President of Tatarstan, and congratulated him on his birthday." Minnikhanov turned 64 on March 1.


" Didn't you call him, congratulate him?" Putin asked. Khalitova replied no. "Call him, congratulate him. He will be very pleased. Discuss with him the projects you are preparing in the near future, I'm sure he will support you," suggested the head of state. - "To make it easier for you, his assistants will contact you, and you congratulate him on his birthday, and he will think of ways to help you in the course of your work".


"Okay, thanks a lot for the advice," Khalitova thanked the President. - "This is going to be great, I'm all for it!"


"I have no doubt," Putin responded.
