Russian Helicopters plans to produce 311 helicopters in 2022

Russian Helicopters, a holding company of Rostec State Corporation, is scheduled to produce 311 helicopters in 2022, CEO Nikolai Kolesov said in an interview with the Business Online newspaper on Tuesday.


"The plan for the entire holding company is 311 helicopters. Arsenyev (JSC AAK Progress - TASS) - 20, Kumertau (JSC KumAPP - TASS) - 10, Rostov (Rostvertol - TASS) - 60. They have always worked within these limits. For Kazan (Kazan Helicopter Plant - TASS) and Ulan-Ude (Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant - TASS) there are also usual figures - 111 and 110," he said.


Kolesov specified that Kazan Helicopter Plant plans to transfer 111 helicopters for 10 customers this year. In particular 58 Mi-8/17 helicopters, 41 Ansat helicopters and 12 Mi-38 helicopters will be produced. Most of the machines will go to the domestic market. For example, the enterprise produced 55 helicopters in 2021.
