Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko said that patriotism, love of mankind and creation are of special value for Russian citizens. She wrote about this in her congratulations to Russians on National Unity Day.
"Patriotism, creation and humanity have a special value for Russian citizens. They are handed down from generation to generation, and have become a strong core of genetic memory. Only by uniting our efforts we will achieve all goals and solve strategic tasks for the sake of justice and truth, strengthening and prosperity of the Motherland", - noted Matviyenko.
According to Matviyenko nowadays the sovereignty of the Russian Federation, "preservation of its unique rich cultural and natural heritage" requires consolidation of the society. "Recalling the lessons of the past, we see the importance of the spiritual unity of people in ensuring the country's independence and increasing its security," added the speaker of the Federation Council.
