The military in Nadterechny district is there for planned exercises, the speaker of the Chechen Parliament Magomed Daudov stated live on Instagram.
"In Nadterechny district, there were regular events planned three months ago, which are called exercises. They went down from Sernovodsky district, from the mountain, went to Nadterechny district, there was a relocation," the politician explained, in particular.
Federal troops, according to him, are stationed in different places on the territory of Chechnya: on Khankal, in Shalinsky and Naursky districts, in Borzoi.
"Conscripts, contractors, and military personnel of the Russian Federation, as well as conscripts from our Republic, serve there," Daudov added.
Yesterday, a number of media with reference to local residents reported that Federal troops were allegedly brought in Nadterechny district. The southern military district said that no additional troops were sent to Chechnya.
