Ramzan Kadyrov told about the lifting of restrictions on the coronavirus in Chechnya

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has instructed the operational headquarters for the fight against the coronavirus to develop a plan in the coming days to remove some of the restrictions imposed to combat the spread of the infection. First of all, according to him, young people who live separately from their parents will be able to return to work.


"This week we need to develop a plan to remove restrictions on the operation of small objects: small shops, gas stations, technical stations. So that a certain contingent can return to work. First of all, young people who live separately from their parents and are healthy, without chronic diseases," Kadyrov said, in particular, at a meeting of the Republican operational headquarters for countering the coronavirus.


"We control the situation and predict that everything will be fine… Next week, we will launch an action plan in stages, see how the first stage goes, and then, based on this, we will make decisions," the head of the Republic added.


At the same time, he stressed that the borders remain closed except for transit traffic. Mass events, including religious ones, are also prohibited.


In Chechnya, according to the regional Ministry of Health, 447 cases of COVID-19 were registered, 7 people died.
