Timur Aleksandrov, Azret Tokhtamyshev and Ivan Vernigora of Nalchik were awarded the Order of Courage posthumously for bravery and self-sacrifice shown in the zone of the special military operation. Nalchik city Mayor Taimuraz Akhokhov announced this on Friday.
"By decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, heroes Timur Aleksandrov, Azret Tokhtamyshev and Ivan Vernigora were awarded the Orders of Courage posthumously for courage, bravery and selflessness shown in fulfilling their service duty. Private Aleksandrov, Senior Warrant Officer Vernigora and Junior Sergeant Tokhtamyshev valiantly defended the interests of our country while taking part in the special military operation," Akhokhov wrote in his Telegram channel.
