Putin promised to visit Karachayevo-Cherkessia

The head of Karachayevo-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit the republic, which in 2022 will celebrate its 100th anniversary, the president promised to do so.


Putin on Thursday held a working meeting with Temrezov by video call, they discussed the socio-economic development of the region and measures implemented in the republic to support the population.

 

"If you allow me, I would still like to thank you from the bottom of my heart, very sincerely, on behalf of all residents, once again, and invite you to Karachayevo-Cherkessia. According to your decree, in 2022 we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic, and I would like to invite you to visit the Republic when you have the opportunity," Temrezov said to the President at the end of the meeting.


Putin thanked for the invitation.


"Okay. I visit you rarely, but I am with great pleasure, with interest watching how the republic is developing. Thank you very much, we will certainly do it," he assured.
