The incumbent head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, nominated by the United Russia party, has secured 80.21% of the votes following the processing of 100% of the protocols. This data comes from the online scoreboard of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
In second place, with 6.95% of the vote, is Artur Shainurov, the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF). Ivan Sukharev from the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) placed third, with 4.98%. Vladimir Nagorny, nominated by the Just Russia – For Truth party, secured fourth place with 4.26%, while Ilshat Timerianov from the New People party came in fifth with 2.6%.
This year's election marked the first time the head of Bashkiria was elected over three days. A total of 2,976,488 people were included in the voter lists.
Khabirov was initially appointed as acting head of the Republic of Bashkortostan in October 2018 by presidential decree, replacing Rustem Khamitov. On September 8, 2019, he was officially elected as head of Bashkiria, receiving 82.02% of the vote, again representing United Russia.
