The state of emergency was introduced in the Abzelilovsky district of Bashkiria after a fire in a nursing home, head of the district Ildar Nafikov said.
"There was a terrible tragedy. Eleven people died in the fire in a private house located in the village of Ishbuldino. I am on the spot. A state of emergency was introduced in the area," he wrote on his page in the social network "VKontakte".
Nafikov specified that there were 16 people in the building, five of them were saved. According to RIA Novosti a source in the administration of the Abzelilovsky district, the latter were employees of the organization.
Earlier, the State Emergencies Department of the region reported that at 02:53 it became known about the fire in the house of mercy on Kizilskaya Street in the village of Ishbuldino. At the time of the rescuers' arrival, a wooden one-story house with a loft was burning on the entire area - 72 square meters. The open fire was fought at 04:31. At 06:00 they announced the complete elimination of the fire.
