The International Caspian Digital Forum opens on Thursday in Kaspiysk, bringing together representatives from the Caspian region countries to discuss the development of the North-South Transport Corridor. According to the regional Ministry of Digital Development, the forum aims to bolster international cooperation in the digital sphere, particularly with Iran, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan.
The 2024 business program is structured around key sectors, including “Remote Earth Sensing,” “Transport,” “Cross-Border Digital Interaction,” and “Service Infrastructure.” Panel discussions will feature Maksut Shadayev, Russia’s Minister of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media, along with delegations from Iran and Kazakhstan.
More than 500 participants are expected, including IT developers, digital technology manufacturers, and software producers. The forum will also showcase an exhibition of digital solutions, alongside drone races, the Dagestan Cup for sports programming, and a hockey match.
