Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak at a meeting of the headquarters for gasification of Dagestan stressed the importance of developing the region's gas complex, which will allow reaching the general level of Russian constituent entities. This year, more than 2 thousand houses are included in the list of pre-gasification plan, and 900 million rubles are planned to be allocated for this purpose, the press service of the region's head said on Wednesday.
"It's very important for Dagestan, and it's not just the issue of pre-gasification of the republic, but the development of the gas complex in general, along with other problems of the fuel and energy complex and the housing and utilities sector. Because this breakthrough project will enable us not only to additionally gasify the districts, but also to reach the general level of the Russian constituents, we are catastrophically lagging behind today," Novak's press service quotes him as saying.
In the region the combined and object-by-object schedules of the additional gasification of the inhabited localities were approved, this year this program includes 2 046 households. According to Oleg Chiglintsev, executive director of Gazprom gazaspredelenie Dagestan, the program of additional gasification will be financed by the company. This year more than 900 million rubles will be allocated.
According to Sergey Melikov, head of the region, the pace of pre-gasification of households is not satisfactory at the moment. This situation is caused by depreciation and lack of capacity of gas distribution networks, unsettled issues of determining ownership of some facilities, incomplete consolidation of gas facilities and many others. The regional governor said he was going to personally chair the joint operative headquarters for pre-gasification and the housing and utilities sector, and two working groups would be formed, which would be headed by the energy minister and the construction minister of the region.
Earlier, President Vladimir Putin instructed to consider the possibility of accelerated implementation of gas supply projects in all settlements located on the territory of Dagestan.
