Putin Congratulates Dagestan’s People’s Assembly on Its Anniversary

President Vladimir Putin has extended his congratulations to the deputies of the People’s Assembly of Dagestan on the 30th anniversary of the republic’s legislative body.

 

“Over the past three decades, the Parliament of Dagestan has carried out significant and multifaceted work in shaping a legal framework that supports the region’s ongoing social development. It has laid the foundation for reforms in the economy, social policy, healthcare, and culture,” the President noted in his message, published on the Kremlin’s official website.

 

He also emphasized the Assembly’s key role during challenging times: “The People's Assembly played an essential role in uniting the people of Dagestan to address urgent issues, such as preserving the integrity of Dagestan and the Russian Federation, combating international terrorism, and strengthening interethnic peace and harmony in the North Caucasus.”

 

President Putin expressed confidence that “sincere dedication to the homeland, professionalism, and productive cooperation with executive authorities, political parties, and civil organizations” will continue to guide the Assembly’s efforts for the benefit of Dagestan’s diverse population and the country as a whole.

 

He concluded by wishing the deputies continued success and all the best.
