Second EMERCOM Flight Departs Dagestan with Humanitarian Aid for Gaza

The second IL-76 aircraft from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, carrying over 27 tons of humanitarian aid for the Gaza population, has departed from Dagestan to Egypt. This information was reported to TASS by the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

 

"The IL-76 aircraft of the Russian Emergency Ministry departed from Makhachkala International Airport bound for El-Arish Airport. The cargo on board includes food, baby food, clothing, footwear, and hygiene items, with a total weight exceeding 27 tons," stated the press service.

 

The Russian Emergencies Ministry noted that the humanitarian aid airlift was coordinated in alignment with the directives of Russian President Vladimir Putin and under the guidance of Alexander Kurenkov, the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. "The humanitarian aid will be transported to the Arab Republic of Egypt, where it will be transferred to the representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for further delivery to the Gaza Strip," the ministry stated.

 

On November 20, the IL-76 aircraft from the Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered 27 tons of humanitarian aid to Egypt for the residents of the Gaza Strip. The cargo included generators, clothes, bandages, food, and baby food.

 

Earlier, on November 18, another special aircraft from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, departing from Moscow, delivered 30 tons of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. The aid included mattresses, pillows, personal hygiene products, food, and baby food. In total, the Russian side has delivered more than 200 tons of humanitarian aid.
