Visiting cemeteries and places of worship was banned in Dagestan

To prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in Dagestan applied a temporary ban on citizens visiting cemeteries and religious buildings. In the resolution of the chief state sanitary doctor for Dagestan, Nikolay Popov, it is noted that the ban will be in effect until at least April 30.


For religious rites and ceremonies, it is suggested to use online broadcasts, television networks and other types of remote communication.


In Dagestan, according to the latest data, the number of confirmed cases of infection with a new coronavirus infection reached 213. Among the cases – 23 children. 9 people died.


In total, 8,782 people were tested, and 2,159 people are in home isolation.
