Tourist Flow in Ingushetia Surges by 10% in 2023

Ingushetia has experienced a notable increase in tourist activity, with a 10% rise in visitor numbers, reaching a total of 115,000 people in 2023, according to Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, the head of the republic. He shared this information on his Telegram channel.

 

"In the outgoing year, the tourist flow to Ingushetia increased by 10% compared to last year: more than 115,000 people visited the republic. On the upcoming New Year's weekend, we expect more than 5,000 guests," wrote Kalimatov.

 

He further emphasized the growth in accommodation facility bookings within Ingushetia in 2023. Kalimatov acknowledged the appeal of the republic and outlined the commitment to ensuring that visitors not only find the region interesting but also enjoy a comfortable stay.

 

The development of the tourism industry in Ingushetia is supported by the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry." For 2024, the national project plans to allocate over 17 million rubles for the creation of national tourist routes, procurement of tourist equipment and gear, event organization, and the establishment of campsites.
