The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov asked Russians to temporarily postpone their visit to the peninsula due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the world.

The head of the region published the address in his microblog on Twitter.

"I strongly ask all our citizens to refrain from traveling to the territory of the Republic of Crimea today, both on business trips and on vacation, since all Crimean resorts and recreation areas are closed," he said, adding that all resorts and recreation areas on the peninsula are closed, and the only effective "cure" for the virus now will be "separation".

"I am sure that after the lifting of restrictive measures, we will be happy to welcome you," the head of the Republic concluded.

In the Crimea, according to the latest data, 63 cases of coronavirus infection were detected.
