101-year-old patient was cured of COVID-19 in Tatarstan

Doctors at Tatarstan's Republican Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital have discharged 101-year-old Mariam Nadershina after she was successfully treated for coronavirus, Rustam Minnikhanov,  the President of the republic, said on his Instagram.


"Mariam Khuzeyevna turned 101 yesterday, and today she is being discharged from the Republican Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital after successful treatment for a new coronavirus infection. I thank the doctors for their work, and I congratulate Mariam-apa," Minnikhanov wrote.


As the republic's Ministry of Health clarified, the patient spent eight days in the hospital, and now she will continue her treatment as an outpatient.
