A public test drive of the Atom electric vehicle will take place in September as part of the international forum Kazan Digital Week, Anatoly Kiyashko, First Deputy General Director of JSC “Kama,” announced at the Rostki international forum in Kazan.
“Allow me to invite participants to our test drive of the Atom car at Kazan Digital Week, which will be held September 17-19,” Kiyashko said during the session titled “Investment Cooperation between Russia and China: Growth Points.”
In May, a pre-series prototype of the Atom EV completed a test drive on a specialized track at the Center for Technical Sports in Moscow. Throughout various testing phases, the “Atom” team conducted a comprehensive check—assessing the compliance of parts with design specifications, testing system interactions, and analyzing production readiness for scaling up, as well as safety compliance.
Kazan Digital Week will run from September 17 to 19, 2025, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center and other venues, offering both in-person and online participation.
The “Rostki: Russia and China—Mutually Beneficial Cooperation” international forum is taking place in Kazan from August 18-19. Its business program features around 100 events, including 70 business sessions covering topics such as economics, industry, education, culture, finance and investment, transport corridor development, agriculture, tourism, and other cooperation areas. Around 10,000 participants are expected.
