Education Ministers from Over 30 Countries to Meet in Kazan to Discuss Future Cooperation

26 May

Ministers of education from more than 30 friendly nations will gather in Kazan on June 11–12 for the international forum "Shaping the Future", where they will explore opportunities for collaboration in the humanitarian and education sectors, the press service of the “My History” Foundation for the Support of the Humanities told TASS.

The event will be hosted at the Bashir Rameev IT Park, a major high-tech hub in Kazan. It is organized by Russia’s Ministry of Education, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the “My History” Foundation.

Forum participants will include education ministers from countries such as the UAE, Belarus, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Myanmar, Laos, the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe, and others. Russia will be represented by Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov, officials from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and Tatarstan’s head, Rustam Minnikhanov.

The forum’s agenda will focus on key global challenges and trends in education, digital transformation and innovation, artificial intelligence and online learning, inclusive education, the evolving role of teachers, quality standards in education, and the development of national education systems. International cooperation will also be a central theme.

A special discussion will spotlight Russia’s experience with children's educational centers. Delegates will also hold a live video session with participants of the international summer program at Artek, Russia’s iconic youth camp, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

“This forum is a space for open dialogue, where we join colleagues from around the world to chart the future of education,” said Minister Kravtsov. “We share a common goal—to ensure every child has the opportunity to fulfill their potential. In Kazan, we’ll tackle everything from student exchanges and academic Olympiads to the use of advanced teaching methods and character development. Russia is open to cooperation and ready to share its experience to make education more inclusive and high-quality for all.”
