Kazan Global Youth Summit Welcomes 110 Delegates from 43 Countries

The III Kazan Global Youth Summit has attracted more than 110 participants and delegates from 43 countries. This information was shared by Konstantin Kolpakov, Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry, following the event's opening ceremony.

 

"In just three years, the Kazan Global Youth Summit has established itself as an authoritative platform that gathers young people from nearly half the world. In 2024, over 110 people from 43 countries have joined our event, once again highlighting the importance of the youth agenda," Kolpakov stated.

 

Timur Suleymanov, Assistant to the Head of Tatarstan and Chairman of the regional branch of the "Movement of the First," noted that the main themes of the 2024 summit were digital technologies and their role in education and the preservation of traditional values among young people. He emphasized that the summit has become a crucial venue for communication among promising young individuals from dozens of countries, who are expected to play significant roles in their respective nations.

 

Taha Ayhan, President of the International Organization "Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation," also highlighted the relevance of the summit's agenda for 2024. "I am very pleased that we have managed to create a platform that fosters intercultural dialogue, the exchange of information and ideas, and helps us address the most pressing issues," Ayhan said.

 

The III Kazan Global Youth Summit is being held in Tatarstan's capital from August 21-24. It is attended by heads of ministries and agencies responsible for youth policy, as well as representatives from major international organizations.
