14 April 2020

People coming to Tatarstan from Moscow and Saint Petersburg will have to spend two weeks in self-isolation. The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic Alexey Pesoshin.

"From April 14 till improving of the sanitary and epidemiological situation, citizens who have arrived (returned) from Moscow and St. Petersburg should be obliged for self-isolation at home for 14 calendar days," the document says, in particular.

Previously, 14-day isolation was mandatory only for those who arrived from abroad.

Persons who are on mandatory self-isolation should immediately call a doctor at home without visiting medical organizations at the first appearance of respiratory symptoms. Similar requirements are applied to those who live with them.

The same decree officially prohibits visiting churches and participating in religious rites and ceremonies in Tatarstan from April 14 until the sanitary and epidemiological situation improves.

According to the latest data, 107 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Tatarstan.
