President of the Republic of Senegal Macky Sall has arrived in Tatarstan for a working visit as part of his visit to the Russian Federation to participate in the second Russia-Africa Summit.
Upon his arrival at the Gabdulla Tukai International Airport in Kazan, President Sall was warmly welcomed by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Gazinur Bakirov, Rais's assistant, and Radik Vakhitov, Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Kazan. Also, present was Mr. Jean-Baptiste Thiatie Tine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Senegal to the Russian Federation.
During his stay in Tatarstan, President Sall is expected to explore the region's industrial potential, visit various cultural and sports facilities, and hold a meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of Tatarstan.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and enhance cooperation between Senegal and the Republic of Tatarstan.
