Putin held a meeting with Minnikhanov in Kazan

Russian President Vladimir Putin commenced his second working day in Kazan with a meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov, the head of Tatarstan. The meeting is taking place at the residence of the republic's leader.

 

During their discussion, Putin and Minnikhanov are expected to open new social amenities in Kazan via video conferencing. Additionally, they will acquaint themselves with plans for the establishment of a Sibur research, development, and scaling center (RnD center) in Tatarstan.

 

Arriving in Kazan on Wednesday, Putin's itinerary the previous day was eventful. He participated in the opening ceremony of the  Games of the Future, alongside leaders from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and engaged in bilateral discussions, notably with Milorad Dodik, the head of Republika Srpska (an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina). Furthermore, Putin inspected modernized Tu-160M strategic missile carriers at the Gorbunov Aviation Plant in Kazan on Wednesday.
