Rinat Sadykov has become Tatarstan's new Youth Affairs Minister. Before that, he was the first deputy head of the ministry, the press service of the republic's government reported on Wednesday.
The new minister for youth affairs of the republic was introduced by Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexei Pesoshin.
"[Pesoshin] reminded that with the direct participation of Rinat Sadykov there is an active work on the development of youth policy in the republic, including consistent implementation of the program of overhaul and construction of infrastructure of youth policy facilities, development and implementation of state industry programs, housing programs for young families, organization of recreation for children and youth in the Republic of Tatarstan," the press service reported.
It is noted that the appointment took place in accordance with the decree of the head of Tatarstan from January 11, 2023.
From 2009 to 2018 Sadykov headed the movement of student labor teams in the republic, in 2018 he became Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan, and in 2021 he was appointed First Deputy Minister.
Timur Suleimanov, who had previously headed the ministry since September 2021, was appointed head of the regional branch of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth "Movement of the First". The initiative to create such a movement was supported by the president of Russia. Vladimir Putin chaired the supervisory board of the All-Russian Movement of Children and Youth.
