Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, has arrived in the United Arab Emirates for a working visit. Today, he is scheduled to participate in the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX-2025) in Abu Dhabi.
IDEX, held biennially in the UAE capital, is one of the world’s largest defense exhibitions, bringing together military equipment manufacturers, security system providers, and defense industry customers. The event serves as a platform for showcasing the latest firearms, military hardware, and security solutions.
At IDEX-2023, more than 132,000 attendees and over 1,000 companies from 65 countries participated, resulting in defense contracts worth over $8.8 billion.
Russia at IDEX-2025
Russia is a regular exhibitor at IDEX, with its 2025 delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. The Russian pavilion, covering more than 2,000 square meters, is organized by Rosoboronexport and features major defense enterprises such as:
