The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan recognized the election of the head of the region as held. The corresponding decision was made by the members of the CEC of the Republic.
"Today we are adopting a resolution on recognizing the election of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on September 13, 2020, as held and valid. Consider Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov elected to the post of President of the Republic of Tatarstan, who received 1 million 930 thousand 355 votes, which is 83.27%, that is, more than 50% of the votes of voters who took part in the vote," said Nadezhda Borisova, Secretary of the Central Election Commission of Tatarstan.
Members of the CEC of the Republic unanimously approved this resolution.
As reported, the inauguration ceremony of Rustam Minnikhanov as the President of Tatarstan will take place on September 18 at Salih Saidashev state large concert hall named after. It will be held by the Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin.
