Aeroflot will resume flights from Moscow to Tehran starting August. The service will launch on August 6 with one weekly flight on Wednesdays. Beginning September 12, the airline will increase frequency to two flights per week, operating on Wednesdays and Fridays. The flights will be operated on Airbus A321 aircraft.
Aeroflot has already begun selling tickets for the route, with prices starting at around 17,000 rubles. According to the schedule, flights will depart Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport at 22:50 Moscow time and arrive at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Airport at 03:25 local time, with a total flight time of about four hours.
Earlier, Aeroflot had to postpone the relaunch due to extended aviation restrictions by Iranian authorities, but with these restrictions now being lifted as of August 1, the route is set to reopen.
