Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia reached $997.941 million in the first two months of 2025, according to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
For comparison, in the same period of 2024, the figure stood at $591.254 million, marking a 68.8% increase.
According to customs data, Azerbaijan's exports to Russia totaled $150.868 million, reflecting a 2.7% decrease, while imports from Russia surged 1.9 times to $847.072 million.
Russia ranked as Azerbaijan’s third-largest trading partner after Italy and Turkey, accounting for 11.21% of the country's total foreign trade turnover in January-February. Additionally, Russia remains Azerbaijan’s top import source, supplying 20.47% of all imported goods.
In 2024, bilateral trade increased 10.1% compared to the previous year, reaching $4.799 billion.
