Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia reached $4.92 billion in 2025, according to the latest data released by the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.
This represents a 2.5% year-on-year increase from the $4.799 billion recorded in 2024.
According to the SCC's breakdown, Azerbaijani exports to Russia totaled $1.184 billion, an increase of 0.5%. Meanwhile, imports from Russia rose by 3.2%, reaching $3.736 billion.
The data confirms that Russia remained Azerbaijan’s third-largest trading partner last year, trailing only Italy and Turkey. Trade operations with the Russian Federation accounted for 9.96% of the republic’s total foreign trade turnover during this period.
