Gazprom Reports Repelling New Attacks on Gas Pipeline Infrastructure to Turkey

Gazprom has officially announced an escalation in attacks targeting its infrastructure facilities for gas exports to Turkey through the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines. According to a statement released by the holding, these incidents occurred between March 17 and March 19. The company reported that during this period, there was a significant rise in attempts to strike critical objects ensuring the export of gas.

 

Joint actions of the Russian Ministry of Defense and mobile operational groups successfully repelled the attacks, and no damage to the facilities was allowed. The Russkaya Compressor Station was targeted by 22 unmanned aerial vehicles, the Kazachya Compressor Station faced three such attempts, while a single strike was attempted against the Beregovaya Compressor Station.
