IAEA Chief Grossi to Attend World Atomic Week in Moscow

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi has confirmed he will attend World Atomic Week, which will take place in Moscow from September 25 to 28. Grossi made the announcement during the opening of Rosatom’s stand at the 69th IAEA General Conference in Vienna, telling Rosatom chief Alexey Likhachev, “Next week you (Rosatom) are opening World Atomic Week. I will be there with great pleasure.”

 

World Atomic Week is the flagship international forum and exhibition showcasing nuclear and related industries, held at VDNH in Moscow and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Russia’s nuclear industry. The event will bring together leaders from countries developing nuclear programs, heads of international organizations, representatives of government bodies and major companies, and leading scientists and entrepreneurs from more than 100 countries.
