Innoprom. Central Asia Exhibition Kicks Off in Tashkent

The fourth international exhibition "Innoprom. Central Asia" is opening in Tashkent. From April 22 to 24, over 400 companies from 27 countries will present their innovative solutions in the industrial sphere. The event will take place in the pavilions of the National Exhibition Center "Uzexpocentre" covering an area of more than 14 thousand square meters.

 

The program will commence with the main plenary session titled "Industrial Cooperation in Central Asia: Regional Focus". It will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zhamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, as well as heads of regional khokimiyats of Uzbekistan and governors of Russian regions. The participants will discuss the development of trade and economic relations, flagship projects, and prospects of interaction.

 

Delegations and companies from Belarus, China, and Turkey will also participate in the exhibition. As part of the business program, representatives from businesses and governmental authorities will discuss the development of international cooperation in the Central Asian region. Interregional cooperation will be one of the key topics on the agenda of "Innoprom. Central Asia".

 

On the third day of the exhibition, the traditional Innoprom University will be held, which will include lectures and seminars for students and young specialists from management of specialized universities and industrial companies of Russia and Uzbekistan. The platform will discuss key technological trends and the specifics of business work with leading universities and engineering schools.

 

In 2021, the international industrial exhibition Innoprom, which has been held in Russia since 2010, was held abroad for the first time in Uzbekistan. In 2023, the "Innoprom. Central Asia" exhibition was visited by more than 10 thousand people from 35 countries. Over the three years of the event, more than 150 cooperation agreements were signed. The organizers of the exhibition are the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
