Kazakhstan's prices for raw and marketable gas will remain unchanged until 2024

The authorities of Kazakhstan will fix prices for raw and marketable gas until January 1, 2024, they will remain at the level of 2021. This was announced by Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov at an enlarged government meeting on Tuesday.


"The domestic market will be provided with an additional 150 thousand tons of liquefied petroleum gas. Prices for raw and marketable gas will be fixed until January 1, 2024, at the level of December last year," Smailov said.


According to him, the government will focus on implementing a set of measures to control and reduce inflation, improve the tariff policy, ensure financial discipline and transparency. "Production of socially important food products will be increased in order to saturate the domestic market and prevent their deficit," the prime minister specified.
