Labor migrants in Russia sent a record-breaking $3.2 billion back to Kyrgyzstan in 2025. According to statistical data from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reviewed by TASS, this marks the first time remittances have reached this level.
The volume of money transfers from Russia has grown by $700 million over the last two years. In 2023, the figure stood at $2.5 billion, rising to $2.7 billion in 2024 before reaching the current record.
