Kyrgyzstan and Russia signed $270 million worth of agreements during their joint business forum in Cholpon-Ata, the Chairman of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Artem Novikov, told reporters.
“Thirty agreements totaling $270 million were signed at the forum,” he said. The deals include the supply of equipment for JSC Airports of Kyrgyzstan and JSC Kyrgyz Temir Zholu (Kyrgyz Railways). “These also cover documents on the delivery of aircraft for Kyrgyzstan’s airport,” Novikov added.
According to him, around 1,000 people are taking part in the seventh Kyrgyz-Russian forum, and nearly 100 companies are showcasing their products at the exhibition held on the sidelines of the event. The Russian delegation in Cholpon-Ata is led by Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk.
