Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with Russia may reach a record level in 2022, exceeding $3 billion, the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan announced on Tuesday.
As stated in the report of the agency, the volume of export-import operations between the countries amounted to $2.98 billion for 11 months of last year.
At the same time, imports from Russia ($2.07 billion) compared to the same period in 2021 increased by 23.6%, and exports from the country to Russia (almost $0.92 billion) has grown by 2.5 times.
According to official data, Russia-Kyrgyzstan trade turnover totaled $2.49 billion in 2021, which was also a record level in the history of trade relations between the countries, having increased by 47% compared to 2020.
